The Women's Centre of Jamaica Foundation will have its opening of the new kitchen and dining facility on Tuesday February 16th, 2010 at 10:00 am. Construction was done through the kind sponsorship of the Jamaica Volunteers Association (JVA)
The spacious facility allows for comfortable seating arrangement at meal time for the over 200 teen mothers enrolled at the Kingston Centre. It will also provide adequate work and display area for teen mothers registered to to sit the CSEC Home Economics and Food and Nutrition course.
